May 30, 2014 - 1:31 AM Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Briann January had 20 points and the Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun, 79-65, on Thursday night.Erlana Larkins posted 14 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for the Fever, who moved to 2-3 on the young season. Shavonte Zellous put in 14 points and Marissa Coleman supplied 11 points, five assists and four boards in the triumph.
Chiney Ogwumike tallied 18 points and 15 boards for Connecticut, which fell to 1-4 on the campaign.
Indiana, which led by as many as 18, netted 23 points off 20 Sun turnovers.
The Fever were up 30-25 at the break and upped the advantage to 58-48 heading into the fourth, where they cruised to the easy win.
