Ogwumike leads Sparks over Sky
Jun 7, 2014 - 3:04 AM Rosemont, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Nneka Ogwumike and Kristi Toliver each scored 18 points and the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Chicago Sky 102-88 on Friday.Candace Parker added 17 points and Alana Beard scored 14 for the Sparks, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
Elena Delle Donne poured in 33 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Sky, who have lost two of three. Tamera Young chipped in 15 points and Jamierra Faulkner had 13.
The Sparks never trailed. They shot 55.8 percent in the game, including 63.6 percent in the first quarter when they outscored Chicago 32-21.
