Azar intercepts two-point conversion to preserve Georgia's victory

Apr 16, 2007 - 5:31 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Steve Azar intercepted Brian Jones' two-point conversion attempt with eight seconds left in the game to preserve the Georgia Force's 69-68 victory over the Las Vegas Gladiators.

Jones hit Etu Molden for a 15-yard score to cut the deficit to one after Chris Griesen threw a five-yard TD pass to Chris Jackson that gave the Force (6-1) a 69-62 edge with 37 seconds left.

Griesen completed 34-of-45 passes for 376 yards and 10 touchdowns, including five to Jackson.

Jackson and Lee combined for 26 catches and 247 yards.

Jones was 27-of-37 for 366 yards and eight TDs, but he was sacked three times. He hooked up with Thabiti Davis 14 times for 162 yards and three scores.

Molden had eight grabs for 143 yards for Las Vegas (1-6, 0-2).
