Pettis lifts Desperados over Soul

Jun 2, 2007 - 6:35 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Will Pettis had five total touchdowns and an interception to lead the Dallas Desperados to a 59-56 victory over the Philadelphia Soul.

Pettis hauled in four touchdown receptions on nine catches for 191 yards and rushed for another score.

Clint Dolezel completed 21-of-35 passes for 320 yards and seven touchdowns for the Desperados (12-1), who won their fifth straight contest.

Tony Graziani passed for 268 yards and five touchdowns but was intercepted twice for the Soul (6-7), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Charles Pauley had six cathes for 75 yards and three scores and Larry Brackins added seven receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown for Philadelphia, which fell to third place in the Eastern Division standings.
