Greisen, Force pound on the Destroyers
Jun 3, 2007 - 3:32 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Chris Greisen threw four touchdown passes in the second half to take the Georgia Force to their eighth consecutive victory, a 54-33 win over Columbus Destroyers on Saturday.Greisen started the second half eruption with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Chris Jackson with 5:41 remaining. The Force defense held the Destroyers scoreless in the third quarter and second lowest scoring total of the season.
Greisen passed for 207 yards and six touchdowns for Georgia (11-2), which is unbeaten at home this season.
Matt Nagy passed for 270 yards and four touchdowns for the Destroyers (6-7), who have lost three straight games.
David Saunders hauled in six catches for 60-yards and two touchdowns and Damien Groce added 121 total yards including 81 receiving and a touchdown for Columbus.
