Greisen, Jackson lead Force past Predators
Jun 16, 2007 - 5:07 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Chris Greisen threw eight touchdown passes, including three to Chris Jackson, as the Georgia Force posted a 55-44 victory over the Orlando Predators on Friday.Greisen completed 27-of-37 passes for 323 yards, including two second-quarter TDs to Jackson in helping Georgia (13-2) grab a 34-31 lead at halftime.
Greisen and Jackson hooked up again in the third quarter for a 24-yard score with 5:45 remaining as the Force pulled away. Jackson finished with 11 catches for 146 yards.
"We had a few calls go against us," Predators coach Jay Gruden said. "But the bottom line is that we were not physical enough and not talented enough to win. Georgia outplayed us on offense, defense and special teams and deserved to win."
Troy Bergeron also had a huge day for Georgia, hauling in 10 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
Shane Stafford went 24-of-36 for 228 yards and four TDs for Orlando (8-7), while Levon Thomas made nine catches for 79 yards and two scores. Marlon Moye-Moore added a pair of two-yard TD runs.
