Pettis' all-around effort crushes Predators
May 24, 2008 - 3:14 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Will Pettis scored four touchdowns - all in different ways - on Friday, leading the Dallas Desperados to a 67-41 win over the Orlando Predators.Pettis began his scoring spree with three-yard TD pass to Anthony Armstrong in the second quarter and added a five-yard run to start the third and snap a 28-28 tie. On the next possession, Pettis reeled in a touchdown pass and capped off his incredible night by returning an interception 42 yards in the fourth quarter.
Clint Dolezel finished 20-of-29 for 240 yards with four touchdown passes for the Desperados (10-2), who joined the Philadelphia Soul (10-3) as the only 10-win teams in the league.
Shane Stafford went 10-of-14 for 102 yards and three TDs for the Predators (8-5).
