Nagy's arm propels Destroyers over Dragons
Jun 24, 2007 - 6:29 AM UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) -- Matt Nagy threw seven touchdown passes to lead the Columbus Destroyers to a 74-43 victory over the New York Dragons on Saturday.Nagy completed 25-of-33 passes for 256 yards and Marcus Knight hauled in three scores as the Destroyers (7-9) qualified for the playoffs with the win.
Damien Groce led the Destroyers in receptions, hauling in 11 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Bush had a great all-around game, catching six passes for 87 yards and a score and rushing for two touchdowns.
Rohan Davey connected on 28-of-46 passes with five touchdowns - four of them to Mike Horacek - for New York (5-11), which is in last place in the Eastern Division.
