Kelly throws four TDs as VooDoo beat Gladiators
Mar 19, 2007 - 1:25 AM LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Andy Kelly threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns to lead the New Orleans VooDoo to a 59-31 victory over the Las Vegas Gladiators.Kenny Henderson led the VooDoo (2-1) with 10 catches for 104 yards and a touchdown and Tyrone Jones had three TD receptions.
Las Vegas had several chances to go up by two touchdowns in the first half after forcing three stops on defense. However, its offense never got on track and the defense caved, allowing 21 points in the third quarter.
Shaun King completed just 18-of-40 passes for 230 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for Las Vegas (1-2). Etu Molden caught 10 passes for 113 yards and one score.
Kevin Prentiss, who set an Arena Football League record with nine touchdown receptions last week, was held to three catches, missing most of the second half with a tweaked hamstring.
