Stafford, Dudley help Predators blast Storm

Apr 15, 2007 - 7:37 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Shane Stafford and Javarus Dudley were too much for the intrastate rivals.

Stafford throw for five touchdowns and Dudley caught three of those as the Orlando Predators coasted to a 61-37 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm.

In the second quarter, Stafford and Dudley hooked up for a nine-yard TD pass and later for a 19-yard score as Orlando (3-3) grabbed a 35-9 lead at halftime.

The duo connected with each other one more time in the third for a 23-yard touchdown at the 5:18 mark, pushing the Predators' lead to 45-16.

Stafford went 19-of-26 for 188 yards and Dudley caught four passes for 58 yards for Orlando, which had 213 yards of total offense.

John Kaleo completed 22-of-29 attempts for 235 yards and Terrill Shaw and Lawrence Samuels combined for 22 catches for the Storm (1-6), who finished 4-of-5 in the red zone.
