Stafford leads Predators past Brigade
May 19, 2008 - 12:39 AM KANSAS CITY (Ticker) -- Shane Stafford threw five touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Orlando Predators to a 58-51 victory over the Kansas City Brigade on Sunday.Stafford opened the scoring with a nine-yard TD run in the first quarter and he capped it with a six-yard TD pass to Ron Johnson with four seconds to play to snap a 51-51 tie.
Johnson finished with seven receptions for 68 yards and T.T. Toliver had six catches for 81 yards and two TDs for Orlando (8-4).
D. Bryant was 17-of-28 for 188 yards and a TD for Kansas City (2-9). Bryant added 49 yards and five TDs on eight carries.
