Philyaw's six TD passes leads Brigade over Soul
May 6, 2007 - 6:07 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Raymond Philyaw threw for 364 yards and six touchdowns as the Kansas City Brigade beat the Philadelphia Soul, 53-41, on Saturday.The Brigade (5-4) never trailed, but the Soul (4-5) pulled within 46-41 with 5:39 left in the game on an eight-yard TD pass from Justin Wood to J.J. McKelvey. But Philyaw hit Boo Williams with a seven-yard TD pass with 52 seconds left to solidify the victory.
Philyaw completed 36-of-41 passes and was not intercepted in a efficient performance. He hooked up 11 times for 108 yards and one touchdown with Jerel Myers.
Wood completed 19-of-28 passes for 238 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions.
