D'Orazio, Jackson help Soul remain undefeated
Apr 6, 2008 - 3:17 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Matt D'Orazio tossed six touchdowns and add rushing score as the Philadelphia Soul remained unbeaten with Saturday's 64-56 victory over the reeling Utah Blaze.D'Orazio threw for 300 yards on 28-of-37 passes with five of his TDs going to Chris Jackson, who finished with 13 catches for 138 yards.
The Soul (6-0) took a 50-35 advantage in the third quarter as D'Orazio hit Martin Bibla on a 14-yard TD and Mike Brown scored on a four-yard fumble recovery with 6:48 left.
Joe Germaine went 21-of-28 for 250 yards with five touchdowns and Rodney Filer and Huey Whittaker both had three scores for the Blaze (0-6), who recorded 305 yards of total offense.
