Blaze conclude season on high note, stomp Rattlers
Jun 22, 2008 - 6:51 AM PHOENIX (Ticker) -- Joe Germaine threw for six touchdowns Saturday, helping the Utah Blaze record a 62-45 victory over the Arizona Rattlers.Germaine went 24-for-34 for 324 yards for the Blaze (6-10), who ended their season with a four-game winning streak.
J.J. McKelvey led Utah with 11 receptions for 146 yards and two scores.
Jeff Smoker finished 19-of-35 for 304 yards and five TDs for the Rattlers (8-8), who will host Grand Rapids in the first round of the playoffs. Siaha Burley led his team with nine catches for 146 yards and a score.
