Nash's six TD catches keep Desperados rolling
May 11, 2008 - 3:55 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- Marcus Nash hauled in six touchdown receptions and Clint Dolezel reached an impressive milestone Saturday as the Dallas Desperados recorded a 65-54 victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage.Nash made nine catches for 145 yards. Dolezel connected with Nash on a 6-yard strike with 11 minutes left in the contest for his 900th career touchdown pass to give the Desperados (9-1) a 58-51 edge.
A 12-year veteran, Dolezel completed 25-of-35 passes for 321 yards and eight touchdowns. Will Pettis finished with nine receptions and 81 yards for Dallas, which has posted back-to-back wins since its blowout loss to the Philadelphia Soul.
James MacPherson passed for 335 yards and seven touchdowns and Kenny Higgins collected 13 catches for 195 yards and three scores for the Rampage (3-7), who have lost four consecutive road games.
