"We did not play well as an offense," Calvillo said. "It's not acceptable scoring just six points as an offense."
The game's first play from scrimmage resulted in Alouettes defensive back De'Audra Dix recovering a fumble and returning it 10 yards for a score.
Hamilton quickly tied the game, thanks to a defensive pass interference call that put the ball at the three. Cobourne rumbled into the end zone to make it 7-7.
Sean Whyte put Montreal back on top with a 20-yard field goal, but Maurice Mann caught a 16-yard TD pass on the final play of the first quarter to give the Tiger-Cats a 14-10 edge.
After Calvillo fumbled early in the second frame, Justin Medlock made a 32- yard field goal to make it 17-10.
The margin was the same after Whyte made a 20-yarder and Medlock was good from 48 yards out.
Following the three-minute warning, Williams made a great 47-yard catch to put Hamilton at the one-yard line. Porter rumbled into the end zone on the next play to make it a 27-13 game at the half.
The Tiger-Cats scored on their first possession of the second half to create some distance. Dave Stala's 56-yard catch led to Porter's 20-yard TD run for a 34-13 margin.
Hamilton found the end zone again on its next drive. A pair of roughing the passer penalties helped the Tiger-Cats get to the Montreal eight-yard line. Cobourne capped the drive with a rushing touchdown for a 41-13 lead.
Whyte's streak of 24 straight field goals made came to end with less than 30 seconds to play in the third quarter. His 53-yarder sailed wide right for a single, which cut the gap to 41-14.
Medlock's 37-yarder and Dwight Anderson's 50-yard interception return for a touchdown capped the scoring.
