3 minor leaguers suspended 50 games for drugs
Aug 30, 2010 - 10:11 PM NEW YORK (AP) -- Three pitchers in the Dominican Summer League have been suspended 50 games after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.The penalties were imposed Monday under the minor league drug program and take effect at the start of next season.
Suspended are Jean Carlos De La Cruz and Delvi Rodriguez of the St. Louis Cardinals and Eduard Reyes of the Milwaukee Brewers.
