Hall, Brewers host road-weary Braves

May 28, 2008 - 1:42 PM Atlanta (28-24) at Milwaukee (25-27) 8:05 pm EDT

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - Bill Hall and the Milwaukee Brewers will look to continue the Atlanta Braves' struggles away from home when they square off on Wednesday in the middle contest of a three-game series.

The Braves fell to 6-17 on the road this season after Hall's smart baserunning lifted the Brewers to a 3-2 comeback victory Tuesday.

Hall led off the ninth with a pinch-hit single to right and was sacrificed to second on Rickie Weeks' bunt. Hall then caught Atlanta reliever Jeff Bennett napping and stole third easily, allowing Cameron to drive him in for the game-winning run with a fly ball to left field.

The 28-year-old Hall is batting just .220 with nine home runs and 22 RBI this season.

Seeking its third straight win, Milwaukee will send righthander Jeff Suppan (2-4, 4.47 ERA) to the mound. He gave up five runs - one earned - on three hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings during Friday's 5-1 setback to the Washington Nationals.

Suppan has lost each of his previous two starts and four in his last five decisions.

The Braves will counter lefthander Jo-Jo Reyes (2-2, 5.84), who was tagged for eight runs - seven earned - and six hits in five frames, walking three while striking out four during Friday's 11-1 setback to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
