Bucks tangle with Nets at Prudential Center

Jan 8, 2011 - 4:01 PM (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks will hit the road for back-to-back games, starting with Saturday's bout with the New Jersey Nets at the Prudential Center.

Milwaukee will also visit Atlanta and is 5-13 as the guest this season. It is winless in the past three games away from the Bradley Center.

The Bucks have lost three straight overall and eight of the last 11 games, including Friday's 101-95 overtime loss versus the Miami Heat. Chris Bosh scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead Miami to its 12th straight road victory.

Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a season-high 30 points and pulled down five rebounds for the Bucks, who got 12 points and a career-high 27 rebounds from Andrew Bogut. John Salmons and Earl Boykins chipped in 15 and 14 points, respectively, in defeat.

"We played really hard tonight," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said. "To hold them to 36 points in the second half, not counting the overtime, means we're playing hard. When plays need to be made we're still having trouble making them. We gave up a rebound, a free throw, we had too many turnovers."

New Jersey has dropped six of seven games and is coming off Friday's 97-77 loss in Washington.

Jordan Farmar and Brooks Lopez each scored 14 points for the Nets, who shot a paltry 34.6 percent from the field.

"It's a struggle on the road, especially for a young team," Nets head coach Avery Johnson said. "This wasn't one of our best games. The guys should really feel bad about this one."

The Nets are 7-9 in Newark, NJ this season and lost guard Devin Harris to a right quad contusion in last night's loss. Harris is questionable for tonight.

Milwaukee won all four meetings with New Jersey a season ago and is unbeaten in the past five games in this series. The Bucks are unbeaten in the past three meetings in New Jersey as well.
