Lakers top Nets for seventh straight win
Jan 15, 2011 - 6:21 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Kobe Bryant notched 27 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers earn a 100-88 win over the New Jersey Nets at Staples Center.Pau Gasol totaled 20 points and nine rebounds while Ron Artest and Lamar Odom both scored 14 points. Odom added 11 rebounds for the Lakers, who have won seven straight overall and seven straight against the Nets. Shannon Brown had 12 points in the victory.
Brook Lopez scored a game-high 35 points and added six rebounds while Sasha Vujacic added 17 points for the Nets, who have dropped their last four. Jordan Farmar had 12 points and Kris Humphries pulled down 15 boards to go with six points.
