The Celtics made it two straight wins with a 104-100 triumph over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Avery Bradley and Marcus Thornton each scored 17 points to pace the Celtics, while Tyler Zeller, Jae Crowder and Jared Sullinger all chipped in with 14 points.
"He was solid once he got his rhythm," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said of Sullinger.
Boston has won five of its last nine games and has a 10-15 home record.
The Celtics will visit Milwaukee on Friday.
Philadelphia ended a two-game slide with Tuesday's 105-98 victory over the Nuggets at Wells Fargo Center.
Hollis Thompson hit four 3-pointers and finished with 23 points and Michael Carter-Williams posted 15 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. Robert Covington added 17 points and eight boards for the Sixers, who have won three of their last five games on the heels of a six-game slide.
"I think we did a good job of executing and my teammates were finding me," Thompson said of his performance.
Carter-Williams, the reigning Rookie of the Year, is a game-time decision with a sore foot.
Philadelphia is 5-21 on the road and will start a three-game homestand Saturday versus Charlotte.
The 76ers are winless in their last seven road games.
Boston has defeated Philadelphia twice this season and the Atlantic Division foes will meet again March 16.
