Magic goes for fourth straight road win vs. 76ers
Feb 1, 2008 - 3:00 PM Orlando (29-18) at Philadelphia (18-28) 7:00 pm ESTPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - The Orlando Magic aims for their fourth straight road win over the Philadelphia 76ers when the two teams meet on Friday.
Orlando has had little trouble in Philadelphia recently, with its last defeat here coming on February 12, 2005.
Hedo Turkoglu scored 27 points and All-Star Dwight Howard added 16 points and 13 rebounds as the Magic registered their fourth victory in five games on Wednesday with a 107-91 win over the Miami Heat.
The win also saw the return of guard Jameer Nelson, who has sat out for six games with strained right foot. He had four points, three rebounds and three assists in 13 minutes off the bench.
Andre Iguodala scored 18 points and Andre Miller chipped in 14 to lead Philadelphia to a 112-69 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday - the team's largest win in more than 25 years.
"That was a great game for us from start to finish," Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks said.
Philadelphia will be seeking its first three-game winning streak since rolling off three games in a row from December 22-28.
