76ers hope to get back on track vs. Raptors

Mar 11, 2009 - 6:14 AM Toronto (23-41) at Philadelphia (30-31) 7:00 p.m. EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers have seen their grip on a potential Eastern Conference berth loosen due to an ongoing slide.

Losers of seven of their last 10, the 76ers will aim to snap a three-game losing streak at home Wednesday when the Toronto Raptors visit the Wachovia Center.

Philadelphia sits in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings, 2 1/2 games ahead of Milwaukee and Chicago, which are tied for the eight spot.

Thaddeus Young and Andre Miller scored 20 points each Sunday in a 89-74 loss to the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder.

Toronto lost its fifth straight game Sunday, a 109-101 setback Sunday to the Utah Jazz despite 30 points and 10 rebounds from All-Star Chris Bosh.
