Mount St. Mary's, Md. 76, Siena 79

Jan 3, 2010 - 3:06 AM ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Ryan Rossiter scored a career-high 29 points as Siena rallied from a 14-point deficit, then held on in overtime to defeat Mount St. Mary's (Md.) 79-76 Saturday night.

The Saints (10-4) won their fourth straight and 28th straight at home while extending the Mountaineers' (3-10) losing streak to eight.

Siena trailed by four points with 52 seconds left in regulation when Ronald Moore made a layup. Moore hit two free throws 20 seconds later to tie the game. The Mountaineers' Jeremy Goode missed a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left, forcing overtime.

The Saints began overtime with a 6-0 run. Mount St. Mary's cut it to 75-74 with 56 seconds left and 77-76 with 19 seconds to go. After Kyle Downey's two free throws with 8 seconds left, the Mountaineers missed two 3-point attempts.

Kelly Beidler led Mount St. Mary's with 19 points.

Siena was 0-for-9 from 3-point range.
