Thomas hits 9 3s to lead South Dakota
Nov 30, 2009 - 1:51 AM VERMILLION, S.D.(AP) -- Jake Thomas made a school-record nine 3-pointers and scored a season-high 31 points in South Dakota's 104-71 win over Midland Lutheran on Sunday.Thomas, a freshman from Racine, Wis., was 9 of 12 from 3-point range and 11 of 14 overall. Louie Krogman added 18 points, and Mitchell Bouie had 15 for the Coyotes (4-3). Jason Ahrens led the Warriors (2-8) with 21 points.
