DES MOINES, Iowa (Ticker) - A virtual lock for the NCAA Tournament, No. 20 Drake ends its regular season at home against Wichita State in Missouri Valley Conference action Saturday.

The Bulldogs (24-4, 14-3 MVC) have clinched the top seed in the conference tournament that begins next week, winning its first regular-season title since 1971.

However, Drake has been a little inconsistent of late, losing three of its last five games, including an 86-83 setback at Missouri State on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have been close in each loss, though, dropping the three games by a combined seven points.

All five starters scored in double figures in Tuesday's loss, led by 18 points from Josh Young, who leads the Bulldogs in scoring at 16.6 points per game.

The Shockers (11-18, 4-13) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 68-54 victory over Evansville on Tuesday.

Senior P.J. Couisnard scored a career-high 25 points in the win and leads Wichita State in scoring at 13.3 per game.
