No. 12 Florida State defeats Temple 77-64
Jan 3, 2010 - 9:38 PM TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(AP) -- Alysha Harvin scored 17 points to lead No. 12 Florida State to a 77-64 win over Temple on Sunday.The Owls (10-4) rebounded from and early 13-point deficit against the Seminoles (13-2) and took a 46-44 lead with under 11 minutes to play on Victoria Macaulays jumper.
Courtney Ward and Alexa Deluzio hit back-to-back 3-pointers and the Seminoles regained control.
Harvin also had nine rebounds before fouling out with 1:46 left in the game. Ward scored 15 points and Jacinta Monroe added 13 points for the Seminoles.
Kristen McCarthy led Temple with 19 points.
