Delaware completes undefeated CAA regular season, sets wins mark
Mar 1, 2012 - 4:09 AM Williamsburg, VA (Sports Network) - Elena Delle Donne had 26 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks, leading eighth-ranked Delaware to a 79-53 win over William & Mary.Danielle Parker and Lauren Carra each posted 14 points for the Blue Hens (27-1, 18-0 CAA), who set the school record for wins in a season.
Delaware became the first team to go undefeated in league play since Old Dominion (18-0) in 2001-02.
Janine Aldridge had 15 points to pace William & Mary (10-19, 3-15).
