Georgia women upend No. 22 Seton Hall 70-52
Dec 7, 2015 - 12:26 AM ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Shacobia Barbee scored 19 points and Georgia upended No. 22 Seton Hall 70-52 on Sunday.Barbee added seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Tiaria Griffin scored 15 points with eight boards, and Mackenzie Engram added 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. The Lady Bulldogs outrebounded Seton Hall 49-37.
Taylor Byrne hit a 3-pointer and layup on successive possessions right before half and Seton Hall led 33-30 at intermission.
Georgia (8-1) opened the second half on an 8-0 run, including 3-pointers by Griffin and Marjorie Butler, and then Seton Hall went 5:05 without a score - and 13:01 without a field goal - as Georgia built a 63-46 lead.
Tabatha Richardson-Smith scored 13 points to lead Seton Hall (7-1). The Pirates shot 31 percent, and just 5 of 23 from beyond the arc.
