Adair, Beck lead George Washington past Western Kentucky
Nov 25, 2007 - 1:18 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair scored 23 points and 15th-ranked George Washington used an early second half run to surge past Western Kentucky, 80-63, on Saturday.Kimberly Beck added 18 points, 12 assists and six steals for the Colonials (5-1), who led by just two points at the half.
However, George Washington opened the second half on a 14-2 run to take a 51-37 advantage and never led by less than eight points the rest of the way.
Crystal Kelly scored 30 points for the Hilltoppers (4-2), who were outrebounded, 38-23, for the game.
