Adair, George Washington put clamps on Villanova
Dec 8, 2007 - 9:50 PM VILLANOVA, Pennsylvania (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair scored 19 points as No. 21 George Washington posted a 67-52 victory over Villanova on Saturday.Adair went 9-of-14 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds for the Colonials (7-3), who finished with a dominant 42-6 advantage in points in the paint.
Sarah-Jo Lawrence scored 13 points and Jazmine Adair added 10 for George Washington, which wrapped up a four-game road trip at 2-2.
Maria Getty had 15 points and Lisa Karcic added 10 points for the Wildcats (7-2), who were held to 28 percent (14-of-50) shooting.
