Packer scores 32, leads Ohio State past Wisconsin
Jan 20, 2008 - 8:30 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Marscilla Packer scored 32 points to lead No. 17 Ohio State to a 79-74 victory over Wisconsin in a Big Ten Conference tilt Sunday.Packer hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points in the second half as the Buckeyes (15-3, 6-1 Big Ten) posted their sixth straight win.
Jantel Lavender scored 21 points for Ohio State, which shot 7-of-12 from the arc and 48 percent (28-of-58) overall.
Janese Banks scored 18 points for the Badgers (8-9, 1-6), who came within three points twice in the final minutes but could not pull off the upset.
