Horne keeps Bowling Green remain undefeated in MAC
Jan 13, 2007 - 11:46 PM ATHENS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Senior Carin Horne and Bowling Green continue to dominate in the Mid-American Conference.Horne had 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals and Ali Mann chipped in 13 points and six rebounds as 18th-ranked Bowling Green posted a 64-55 victory over Ohio.
The Falcons (14-2, 4-0 MAC) extended their conference-record winning streak to 29 consecutive games, dating to the 2004-05 season.
Liz Honegger had 10 points and seven rebounds for Bowling Green, which shot 37 percent (22-of-59) from the field and scored 19 points off 21 turnovers.
Domenica Frederick collected 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats (8-8, 1-3), who shot 41 percent (20-of-48).
