Mann helps Bowling Green extend win streak

Jan 31, 2007 - 6:47 AM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Ali Mann scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures as Bowling Green rolled to a 72-55 non-conference victory over Chicago State.

Kate Achter added 14 points and Liz Honegger had 13 and eight rebounds as the Falcons extended their winning streak to 12 games.

Bowling Green (19-2) led at halftime, 35-26, but pulled away in the second half, shooting 51 percent (32-of-63) from the field despite making just 4-of-15 shots from the arc.

The Falcons dominated the glass, 40-32, and outscored Chicago State, 44-20, in the paint.

Jasmin Dixon and Zondranika Williams scored 13 points apiece to lead the Cougars, who shot 38 percent (21-of-56).
