Mann helps Bowling Green extend win streak
Jan 31, 2007 - 6:47 AM CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Ali Mann scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures as Bowling Green rolled to a 72-55 non-conference victory over Chicago State.Kate Achter added 14 points and Liz Honegger had 13 and eight rebounds as the Falcons extended their winning streak to 12 games.
Bowling Green (19-2) led at halftime, 35-26, but pulled away in the second half, shooting 51 percent (32-of-63) from the field despite making just 4-of-15 shots from the arc.
The Falcons dominated the glass, 40-32, and outscored Chicago State, 44-20, in the paint.
Jasmin Dixon and Zondranika Williams scored 13 points apiece to lead the Cougars, who shot 38 percent (21-of-56).
