Bowling Green still perfect in the MAC
Feb 15, 2007 - 8:31 AM BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (Ticker) -- Megan Thorburn and Bowling Green had no troubling staying perfect in conference play.Thorburn scored 14 points and 17th-ranked Bowling Green remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play with a 91-46 victory over Akron.
Thorburn made four 3-pointers and was one of four players in double figures for the Falcons (23-2, 12-0 MAC).
Kate Achter scored 12 points and Carin Horne and Amber Flynn each had 11 for Bowling Green, which led, 46-25, at the half.
Riana Miller scored 12 points for Akron (9-15, 2-10), which shot 36 percent (19-of-53), including 2-of-16 from the arc.
