Langhorne, Maryland beat up on Florida State
Feb 16, 2007 - 3:31 AM TALLAHASSEE, Florida (Ticker) -- Crystal Langhorne collected 14 points and 12 rebounds as No. 6 Maryland defeated Atlantic Coast Conference club Florida State, 74-60.Marissa Coleman and Kristi Toliver also had 14 points to balance the offensive attack for Maryland (25-3, 9-3 ACC). Shay Doron added 12 points and Laura Harper had 11 and 12 rebounds.
The Seminoles held a 30-29 lead at the half, but surrendered 45 points in the second half to the Lady Terapins, who finished with a 44-33 advantage in rebounds and 14-7 lead in second-chance points.
Alicia Gladden scored 13 points and Britany Miller added 12 for Florida State (18-8, 7-4), which shot 37 percent (23-of-63).
