UConn dominates Notre Dame

Feb 19, 2011 - 9:46 PM Storrs, CT (Sports Network) - Bria Hartley scored a career-high 29 points and dished out five assists, as the second-ranked Connecticut Huskies cruised past the eighth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 78-57.

Stefanie Dolson added 15 points and five rebounds for the Huskies (26-1, 13-0 Big East), who have won a record 76 consecutive home games. Connecticut has also won 63 in a row against Big East opponents.

Tiffany Hayes donated 13 points and seven boards for the Huskies, who have won 14 straight games. Maya Moore tallied 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Skylar Diggins had 22 points to pace the Fighting Irish (22-5, 11-2), who have lost 11 in a row against the Huskies.

Natalie Novosel donated 18 points for Notre Dame, which had a nine-game winning streak snapped.
