No. 6 Xavier dominates George Washington
Feb 24, 2011 - 2:10 AM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Amber Harris scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, as the sixth-ranked Xavier Musketeers dominated the George Washington Colonials, 67-41.Tyeasha Moss added 12 points and five assists for the Musketeers (24-2, 13-0 A-10), who have won 30 consecutive conference contests.
Ta'Shia Phillips donated nine points and 11 boards for Xavier, which extended its home-court winning streak to 23 games. The Musketeers will play Temple on Sunday for the regular-season championship.
Tiana Myers finished with 11 points for the Colonials (8-19, 3-10), who were without leading scorer Danni Jackson (concussion).
George Washington, which has lost three in a row, concludes regular-season action versus Saint Josephs on Sunday.
