Robinson scores 17 as Georgia stays undefeated
Dec 10, 2007 - 12:11 AM ATHENS, Georgia (Ticker) -- Angel Robinson scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Georgia to a 79-65 victory over Davidson on Sunday.Six players scored in double figures for the Lady Bulldogs, who outrebounded the Wildcats, 54-32, and scored 25 second-chance points.
Georgia (9-0) remained undefeated by building a 37-25 halftime lead while holding Davidson (5-3) to 30 percent (10-of-33) shooting in the opening period.
The Wildcats rebounded with a 14-of-26 (54 percent) shooting effort in the second half, but could not make up the difference.
Julia Paquette scored 14 points and Honna Housley and Kelly Gassie added 13 apiece for Davidson, which shot just 25 percent (6-of-24) from the arc.
