Allen, George Washington slam Brown
Jan 6, 2008 - 10:59 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Whitney Allen scored 16 points and Antelia Parrish added 15 as 19th-ranked George Washington blasted Brown, 98-22, in a non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.Jessica Adair scored 13 points for the Colonials (12-3), who shot 66 percent (36-of-54) from the field en route to the convincing victory.
George Washington took advantage of an anemic offensive performance from Brown, which shot 22 percent (10-of-45) from the field and scored just 11 points in each half.
The Bears put forth a sloppy effort, committing 30 turnovers and shooting just 1-of-16 from the arc.
Annesley O'Neal scored seven points to lead Brown (1-13).
