George Washington overpowers St. Louis
Feb 21, 2008 - 5:03 AM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Kimberly Beck scored 23 points to lead No. 16 George Washington to an 82-58 rout of St. Louis in the Atlantic 10 Conference on Wednesday.Sarah-Jo Lawrence added 19 points and Whitney Allen had 17 points and four steals for the Colonials (21-5, 9-2 A-10), who rolled to a 52-26 halftime lead behind 67 percent shooting (20-of-30).
George Washington had 12 steals and forced 23 turnovers that led to 32 points.
Theresa Lisch scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and Amanda Kemezys added 16 for St. Louis (10-16, 5-6), which converted 18-of-20 at the free-throw line.
