Sep 15, 2009 - 9:38 PM BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Brian Threat rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns to lead Southern to a 68-0 victory over Central State on Saturday night.

Threat and quarterback Bryant Lee, who passed for 220 yards and two touchdowns, led a Southern offensive outburst totaling 592 yards. The Jaguars scored at least two touchdowns in every quarter.

Eight players received carries for Southern (0-1), which finished with 349 yards on the ground. Brandon Rice rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, and Gary Hollimon added 69 yards and a score on nine carries.

Lee was 16 of 26 with touchdown passes of 15 yards to Warren Matthews and 24 yards to Jeremy Paul.

Juamorris Stewart led Southern with five catches for 81 yards.

Central State (0-3) was held to 44 total yards.

Southern also picked off four passes and had three sacks.
