Broken arm fears for Rebels' McMahon
May 27, 2017 - 12:35 PM Melbourne flanker Sean McMahon has been taken to hospital with a dislocated wrist, suffered late in their Super Rugby clash with the Crusaders.Medical staff at AAMI Park were unable to put the joint back in at the ground, with fears the Wallaby had also broken his arm.
McMahon suffered the injury in the 73rd minute while making a tackle and immediately went to ground in obvious pain.
The 22-year-old was playing only his third game of the season after recovering from ankle surgery and then a knee injury.
He was pushing for Test selection with the Wallabies playing Fiji on June 10 in Melbourne.
Coach Tony McGahan said it was tough to lose their star player.
