Davis' two-assist game rescues draw for Dynamo vs. FCD
May 29, 2011 - 2:46 AM Houston, TX (Sports Network) - FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo battled to a 2-2 draw in Major League Soccer action at Robertson Stadium on Saturday night.Dallas actually opened the scoring on the road with Andrew Jacobson scoring his first MLS goal in the 27th minute.
Cam Weaver equalized just before the break, however, for Houston when he took a pass from Brad Davis and slotted home for his fourth of the season.
Dallas defender Ugo Ihemelu put the Hoops back up a goal in the 70th minute when he headed home a Marvin Chavez corner kick for his second goal of the season.
That looked like how the game would end, especially after Kofi Sarkodie was sent off with his second yellow just two minutes later, forcing the Dynamo to play a man down the rest of the game.
But Davis came up big with another pin-point pass in the closing minutes that sprung Colin Clark in alone on goal. Clark easily slotted home to tie the game.
