Ballouchy leaves it late to give N.Y. draw in Houston

May 22, 2011 - 2:51 AM Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Red Bull New York got a stoppage time equalizer from Mehdi Ballouchy to rescue a 2-2 draw at the Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer action on Saturday.

New York opened the scoring inside the first minute when a Teemu Tainio ball over the top found striker Luke Rodgers, who played back to Dane Richards. Richards then blasted a one-timer from about 25 yards that eluded goalkeeper tally Hall to make it 1-0.

Houston equalized about 11 minutes later after earning a penalty kick when striker Will Bruin was taken down by New York defender Rafael Marquez.

Brad Davis slotted home the PK chance for his first goal of the season.

That was how the score stayed until late in the second half, when Dynamo substitute Koke swept in a rebound of a Geoff Cameron header off a corner kick.

But Ballouchy's 91st minute goal, a powerful header off a Joel Lindpere corner kick, forced the Dynamo to share points at home.
