Austin Rivers' buzzer beater over North Carolina - 6 threes, 29 points and the game winning shot. Duke Blue Print Feb 8, 2012 Best Battle of the Blues EVER! Duke (85) @ N. Carolina (84).

The 1992 East Regional Finals: Duke vs Kentucky in Philadelphia, PA. Duke was favored to win. Jamal Mashburn (Kentucky's go to guy) had fouled out and Sean Woods had just hit a shot to put Kentucky up 103-102 in overtime with 2.1 seconds remaining. At this point Kentucky was celebrating and everybody thought they would win with very little time remaining on the clock. Duke had the ball. Duke forward Grant Hill threw a full court pass to Duke Center Christian Laettner (Duke's go to guy) who was perfect on the night and had not missed a shot during the entire game! With Laettner's back to the basket he caught and dribbled the ball, then put up an amazing turn-around buzzer beater jump shot for the Duke win 104-103. The Duke bench and crowd erupts and goes wild in celebration! UN-BE-LIEVE-ABLE! Laettner was fortunate enough to have buzzer beater wins twice to move on to the FINAL FOUR: once against Uconn in 1990 and Kentucky in 1992. The Duke vs Kentucky Regional game will always be remembered as a "classic" and THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME! A Special shout out to the 1992 Duke team Grant Hill, Thomas Hill, Brian Davis, Bobby Hurley, Christian Laettner, and of course the one and only Coach "K". Also a shout out to Coach Rick Pitino and the 1992 Kentucky team. Both teams were dead on trading basket for basket making basketball history that day and will be remembered forever! Duke went on to win the game though and back-to-back National Titles in 1991 and 1992 - "The Duke Dynasty".

  • msparker Duke men vs Miami and women vs. Carolina - both won this weekend. Go Duke!

  • msparker I don't know what's going on, but one of my picks was marked wrong again. I am a die-hard Duke fan and I picked the Duke women to win over USC which they did and it marked my pick incorrectly, as though I picked USC to win. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Someone needs to correct his ASAP!
