Jul 16, 2011 - 4:43 AM Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Candice Dupree scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds, as the Phoenix Mercury recorded their sixth straight victory with a 78-64 win over the Washington Mystics.Kara Braxton tallied 17 points for the Mercury, who have won six in a row for the first time since July 2009.
Diana Taurasi added 13 points to become the 5th player in WNBA history to reach 5,000 career points.
Crystal Langhorne finished with 17 points and eight boards for the Mystics, who have lost five straight games for the first time since 2008. Matee Ajavon had 14 points in defeat.
