Milton-Jones helps Sparks blot out Sky
Jul 31, 2011 - 3:02 AM Rosemont, IL (Sports Network) - DeLisha Milton-Jones had 19 points to help the Los Angeles Sparks take an 88-84 win over the Chicago Sky.Tina Thompson had 14 points and five rebounds while Jantel Lavender added 13 points and six rebounds for the Sparks, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
Erin Thorn had 17 points while Sylvia Fowles and Epiphanny Prince each totaled 16 points for the Sky, who have lost three of four.
Los Angeles built a 51-35 lead at the break and were able to hold off a second-half charge from Chicago for the win.
