Dupree paces Mercury over Sparks
Sep 4, 2011 - 4:23 AM Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Diana Taurasi scored 24 points and Candice Dupree had 22 with 19 rebounds to pace Phoenix to a 93-77 victory over the playoff-hopeful Los Angeles Sparks.Penny Taylor tallied 14 points, while DeWanna Bonner ended with nine points and 12 rebounds for the Mercury, who are a half-game behind Seattle for second place in the Western Conference. The playoff-bound Mercury have three games remaining.
Candace Parker netted a season-high 32 points for the Sparks, who are two games behind San Antonio for the last postseason spot in the conference. Kristi Toliver had 23 points in defeat.
