Sims leads Shock over Stars
Aug 9, 2014 - 2:32 AM Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Odyssey Sims led the way with 22 points and the Tulsa Shock beat the San Antonio Stars, 79-62, on Friday.Skylar Diggins and Glory Johnson added 14 points apiece for the Shock, who won for the fourth time in their last six games to move within a game of the Stars for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Johnson had a game-high 12 rebounds and Courtney Paris chipped in 11 points and 11 boards in the victory.
Newly named San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon had 16 points to lead the Stars, who have lost four in a row and nine of their last 11.
